La Potinière, a story

Henry and Elisabeth Léopold founded La Potinière in 1948, a couple of steps away from the Palais des Festivals. The establishment quickly acquired a great reputation. In 1995, their grandson, Larry, a head chef who notably worked with Michelin-starred chefs Alain Ducasse and Jacques Chibois, added its own gourmet stone to this culinary establishment. La Potinière has been offering Mediterranean family cuisine since its onset.

Remove everything that is not necessary: Too many ingredients which bring confusion in taste and flavour; Objects and decorations which clutter the table; Excess of ceremonial. Arrive to what is essential: real taste and flavour; true texture; real colour; Be the friend whom we have invited. Good cuisine is the basis of true happiness.
